RIVER PATROL – Wayne Lofton
There is currently a boat repair scam going around. Wayne suggests that we use extreme caution when we contract for any boat repair.
There have been several suicide attempts recently from the Fremont Bridge.
One of the departments boat is under repair. It is a warranty issue but the repair has been difficult.
Grant money for a landing craft has been approved. this is great news. It will allow the sheriff to transport ATV’s to islands for patrol. It will be a huge resource in maintaining thorough patrols on the islands.

WOOO ANNUAL MEETING:
The meeting will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013.
The caterer has been hired, however, we still do not have a speaker.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Marine Drive Dike is up for certification. This is going to be a contentious issue and we should be watching it closely as it will eventually affect all of us. The Corps of Engineers wants no trees, the conservationists want trees. The Drainage District does the investigation and the are looking for help. The Corps is running behind on the re-certifications.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 pm. The next meeting will be held at Tyee Yacht Club on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
